Training and Technical Assistance

Child Nutrition, Inc. provides free training and education to each day care home
under it's sponsorship.  Every provider is given a comprehensive manual at their
initial visit to discuss the program benefits and requirements.  CNI providers receive
monthly newsletters containing information you can use as a registered/licensed day
home provider including nutrition information, menu suggestions, licensing updates,
workshop locations and available training material, children's activities, and general
child care information.  Home monitoring visits are arranged three times per year in
the provider's home, which also allows for providers to ask questions and get
technical help with the program.  Numerous training workshops are offered each year
in different locations throughout the state.
